After a pre-show on Friday, zipping through the air with wings almost touching, in all kinds of formations and in all kinds of danger, members of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds met with Make-A-Wish children and their families to answer questions and sign autographs....

... and to give encouragement.

The pilots do tough things, and they do them with courage.

So do these families.
And so do these sweet, young children.
