La neige

J'ai une ami de France qui m'a dit qu'elle regarde mes blog de temps en temps et aimer bien mes photos et mots. Je suis tres heureuse de penser que les choses que j'ecrit et les photos que je met ici vont toutes loin. D'ici a France.

What a way to start the day

I think the old saying goes: Pink sky at night, sailor's delight; pink sky at morning, sailor's take warning. Sure enough, the weather turned for the worst after this morning sky, but since I'm not a sailor, no one should mind that I took delight in it anyway. Unless you're a poet.

Happy at the holidays

I don't normally post personal photos on this blog, but am making an exception because there are not only beautiful places in this world, there are beautiful people. I'm grateful for those that are in my world and thank them for making the holidays beautiful too.

The best job in the world

I have the best job in the world.
Why?
Because this morning I got to go to at assembly at an elementary school and hear people from the Utah Grizzlies hockey organization teach about the importance of setting goals and teamwork and believing in yourselves.
And because last week I got to learn about Kwanzaa and even before that I got to hear the Governor tell about the new budget.
And sometimes I get to go to Antelope Island for the bison round-up and sometimes I get to ask educators who work with disabled students why they do it and sometimes I just drive around taking pictures of interesting people and beautiful places.
And sometimes I don't have to go anywhere or see anything, I just get to write about what I'm thinking about and why I'm thinking about it.
And then I get to share it.
And if you want to be shared with, subscribe to the Davis Clipper by calling 801-295-2251 or go to www.davisclipper.com and you'll see what I'm talking about.
